The Residence at Mandarin Oriental Bangkok is a super-luxury residential project that meets international standards in Thailand and Southeast Asia, distinguished by its architecture and design that enhance quality of life, environmental care, and sustainability.

MQDC collaborated with Atelier Ten, a global environmental consulting firm, to develop The Residence at Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, committed to creating the best residential project and establishing a global standard under the principle of 'For All Well-Being', promoting the health of residents and fostering sustainable living.

The standout feature of The Residence at Mandarin Oriental Bangkok is its beautiful views along the Chao Phraya River, allowing residents to enjoy the surrounding beauty while considering their quality of life in terms of lifestyle and hygiene, by incorporating air circulation and purification systems back into the building.

The project is also designed to be resilient to various situations, such as natural events or social occurrences. Additionally, it manages water efficiently by implementing innovations that reduce water usage and ensuring that no wastewater is released to pollute the surrounding environment (Zero Waste Water). Furthermore, in the event of flooding, it can retain water before releasing it back into the river.

Mr. Wisit Malaisirirat, CEO of Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC), stated that the LEED Gold award is another source of pride, reinforcing MQDC's world-class standards.

“The development of real estate projects, especially residential ones, has changed significantly today. Residents are increasingly concerned about environmental care, including energy conservation, water management, and waste management, as well as the living environment. Therefore, in every MQDC project, we prioritize these aspects, including The Residence at Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, which is considered one of MQDC's masterpieces and of Thailand in the residential category. We take great pride in the LEED Gold award as it underscores MQDC's success and commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents and the sustainability of the environment, in line with our philosophy of 'For all well-being.' This award will motivate MQDC to further develop and set standards for real estate development projects in Thailand to be recognized globally.”

Dr. Naree Phinyawatana, Director of Atelier Ten in Bangkok and Singapore, the consulting firm overseeing the design and development of the project for MQDC, discussed the development of "The Residence at Mandarin Oriental Bangkok," aiming to make it the best residential project.

“From day one of the project development, Atelier Ten and MQDC have been dedicated to quality, livability, and environmental care. We have paid attention to every detail and received special points from LEED, including full points for Innovation in Design and high scores for Sustainable Sites, achieving nearly 90%. This includes developing shared spaces with the community, controlling building heat, addressing sudden flooding issues, and excellent connectivity to transportation systems. We are confident that 'The Residence at Mandarin Oriental' will set a new standard for residential development in Thailand, enhancing quality of life and environmental sustainability.”
